There's nothing better than a nice big hug, so why not share a hug in card form? yea.. that's a little mushy even for my taste.
ANYWHOO.. to start i grabbed a piece of a2 note card (staples brand), stamped my bear hug stamp from Art Impressions, as well as a copy of it on some sticker paper that I had.
Next i masked off the bear and grabbed my salty ocean distress ink and started making a background, i then masked off some snowbanks and finished my background then went around the edges with black soot distress ink to give some depth to the image.
afterward i removed the snow mask and dabbed on some embossing fluid and white embossing powder from stampendious, and i embossed the snow 3 times to give a bit more texture.
next i removed the mask from the bear and colored it in with Copic Markers E33 E35 E37 R37 W1 and B02.
Finished it off with some sequins (or you should probably use snowflakes) and VOILA!
Easy peasy!
