DIY Ink Storage

Okay so we've seen this done half a gazillion times right? right! BUT it is extremely hard to find someone willing to give their calculated measurements! Even some who want you to BUY them!! Insane in my opinion.. it's just math!!

Yea.. pain in the A** right? Well this one is only small but ill give you my measurements ALSO how to make it TWICE as wide and how to make it for just  Distress Inks!

Watch the video for the general process and keep reading for the directions!

So here's a math lesson for the day! Fractions can be fun! honestly though I'm somewhat a geek when it comes to building and constructing and designing things... I probably should have did something with it in my life but NOPE! I'd rather stay home with baby for a couple years and manage the actual family buisness.

So for the shelf EXACT as above you'll need the following pieces!
Back again!!! Needed something to sort my ink pads in and didnt want to pay for some fancy expensive thing soooo Voila!

Sizes of pieces i used
12- 11x3.5inch
20- 1x3.5inch
2- 15.25x3.75inch
1- 11x15.25inch
2- 2.25x3.5inch
*(exchange the 2- 2.25x3.5 for 4 more 1x3.5 and one more 11x3.5 if you do not want the bigger cubbys at the top. this will remove the small gap at the bottom I used for acrylic blocks however, to keep that, add .25inch to the 15.25 part of the 15.25x3.75 )
and however many you need of 0.75x2 inch for distress ink bumps

For one twice this size in width (I wouldn't recommend going taller since it may become less stable):
12- 22.25x3.5inch
50- 1x3.5inch
2- 15.25x3.75inch
1- 15.25x22.25inch
5 - 2.5x3.5inch*
*(exchange the 5- 2.25x3.5 for 10 more 1x3.5 and one more 22.25x3.5 if you do not want the bigger cubbys at the top. this will remove the small gap at the bottom I used for acrylic blocks however, to keep that, add .25inch to the 15.25 part of the 15.25x3.75)
and however many you need of 0.75x2 inch for distress ink bumps

Should you want this for JUST distress inks
change all measrements of "3.5inch" to "2.75inch"
